Burgers are good, buns are GREAT. Fries are good, but a little thin for my taste. A bit pricey for a gas station burger and fries, but a good meal if you're in the area.
I’m new to the area and tried to google a place that delivers alcohol (wasn’t sure if it’s even permitted in Texas but I looked just incase) Paradise was the first that popped up, the website says word for word “our friendly staff members are ready to assist you in choosing the ideal beverage for your special occasion or for a relaxing evening at home”... “Call in your order. We deliver to your home.” I thought to myself great! Online they make themselves appear posh as if they’re real experts so I had high expectations. I called the store and kindly asked if the website was accurate, the guy who answered had a “derrrrrrrr” attitude, reminded me of one of those weird *ss adult babies. He asked me “what kind of drinks” in my head I’m thinking is this guy for real? But I kindly said wine or champagne, he put me on hold, not a professional boring music kind of hold but I could literally hear a fan or crappy cooler in the background. When he came back he said in a rude tone “no we don’t”, I then asked him if he happened to be the owner or manager, of course he said no so I told him he should relay it to his boss that the website was inaccurate. Then he tells me “oh ummmm...derrrr... uh yeah we’ve been trying to work on it” He sounded like a moron, how do you work at a place and not know anything? Bottom line sure I was bummed nobody can deliver here but I get it rules are rules, however because of this idiot that answered the phone I’ll never visit this store, such a shame I would have been a loyal customer.
Terrible! They supposedly will fill your propane tank for you, but the past 7 TIMES we have been they are unable to. This time is because "no one is certified to do it" which is stupid on a holiday weekend. Another time was "it's raining outside and we can't" - it was spitting rain (I understand lightening, but drizzle?). The employees are extremely rude. They are in a prime location and could be excellent, but their customer lacks, their store is filthy, and their employees need an attitude check.
I agree with these other posts--these people are RUDE , RUDE, RUDE. The store is the only one serving the West Argyle, Robson Ranch area and I guess they don't need to consider service AT ALL. When they rang something up at the wrong price and i questioned it, they were indignant and held up their line while they loudly discussed my questioning them. Really? Yes, really. They are awful people. This is obviously condoned by their management--if they have any.
I eat at the grill in the gas station quite a bit for lunch. Food is almost always good! Easy to access, good variety, and convenient. The only part I really dislike, is the blonde hair lady who disrespects customers and wears her hair down in the food prep area. The rest of the crew is awesome and kind. If she fixed her attitude towards customers and her hair, it would be an higher rating.
